Office Lighting Solutions – Glare Free Work Spaces

Glare free Office lighting solutions enhance surroundings, provide for a less stressful work environments and improve employee morale.  Uplight fixtures, task and indirect lighting sources are considered standard lighting design solutions today.  For an updated look in an outdated office space consider removing old standard fluorescent ceiling light fixtures and replacing with these contemporary solutions; as with the track lighting above the file cabinets.  Hidden fluorescent uplights mounted on top of cabinets and in soffits are inexpensive ways to provide indirect light sources and add pizazz for the overall design and ambiance.

  1. Its very true that the ambience lighting of an office can truly make the difference between a space that feels hard and cold and unfeeling in comparison to an office that is warm and inviting.

the tips you’ve provided for lighting shouldnt be ones that people only do when old fittings become worn, but rather something that is changed as a proactive solution for happiness in the office. With the right furniture added as well as some floral influences and solid design you can increase staff satisfaction and productivity immediately.

    • Execusuite offices are a specialty of ours. I recommend these office facilities to start up companies as a way to provide immeasurable professionalism right off the bat. This is a terrific booming industry – allowing smaller businesses to have access to full time office staff at their convenience without the added costs of employee salaries, taxes, health care, etc. Great business model. Let me know if you expand in the US or need assistance planning and furniture eleswhere. We designed all the prominent locations for InterOffice (a US Execusuite company) in early 1990’s. We had our office space in their headquarters facility in Fairfax, VA and designed new office spaces for Atlanta, Boston, Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Austin, Los Angeles, Houston and Puerto Rico. We designed, furnished and installed all product, lighting and furniture from our location in Virginia. Planning can be done from any location when you know what needs to be accomplished. Thanks for your comment – I am just beginning to get started on our Blog – watch for more posts. We specialize in Commercial construction as well as residential. The blog will switch between the two areas of expertise but most home items translate into the commercial world as today everyone wants their office to feel like a home atmosphere – comforatble, relaxed – a laptop in their lap – not stuck at a desk….more to come

    • Frank,
Thanks for your note – well planned and executed office lighting is critical for people to be productive; day-lighting is best but not easily achieved unless it is a new building. We use the same concepts for home lighting design.. It is never good to have glare – it is a source of headaches and most people do not notice why they have a headache just that they need to grab for the aspirin/Advil bottle.

      Enjoy your day.
